Caroline’s life and
work has spanned areas as diverse as theatre, television, education and the criminal justice system. She spent many years running groups and one-to-one therapy sessions with a range of clients before becoming a
hypnotherapist five years ago. In all she has over 20 years experience of helping people to move forward in their lives.
Caroline has experience of living with a partner who was depressed, and also has personal experience of an anxiety disorder herself, albeit many years ago.
She says:
I’m glad to be able to tell you why I am so impressed by hypnotherapy. It is such a sensible, common-sense treatment. What could be more efficient than accessing a person’s subconscious, the place where all the information is filed away, and finding the right information to fix the problem? It’s wonderful!
I am fortunate to have been trained in a really effective technique, and also to have the benefit of having worked with other related therapies, for example, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).
My experience has led me to believe that if many people who are unhappy or uncomfortable about some aspect of their lives had good hypnotherapy to help them, they would be likely to feel relief quite quickly.
